Born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, I started dabbling into the world of knitting in my early 20’s – mostly just fiddling around with my needles and experimenting with a small variety of very basic stitch patterns.
Born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, I started dabbling into the world of knitting in my early 20’s – mostly just fiddling around with my needles and experimenting with a small variety of very basic stitch patterns. It was a casual hobby back then, one that I rather quickly placed on the back burner as I went on to pursue other creative endeavours that dominated my mind at the time.
I spent years as a Concept Artist and Illustrator before picking my needles back up again in the later half of 2020. My husband and I had just bought our very first home. One day in the midst of decorating our new place, I decided I was going to attempt to knit up a simple pair of throw pillows for our living room sofa.
I didn’t think a thing of it at the time, but as I sat there knitting away again for the first time in ages, I found myself falling madly and completely in love with the craft. A new creative obsession was born, and soon after came the idea for this very website!

This website was born out of a vision I had to create an elegant, fun, and user-friendly place to learn and experience all things knitting. My aim is to make this place a ‘one-stop-shop’ of sorts for patterns, tutorials, resources and so much more!

As this website continues to grow throughout the coming years, my aim is to saturate this place with resources that cover techniques that range from the absolute bare bone basics of knitting, all the way up to more advanced topics – such as how to design your very own knitwear.
I truly believe anyone can master the art of knitting in no time with just a tiny bit of effort and determination. My hope is that this place will be an invaluable resource to help you do just that!
Throughout my years as a concept designer, I’ve learned to love and appreciate the beauty of simplicity – simple shapes, simple colour palettes, simple materials, and simple processes – and that’s precisely what I strive for in my designs.
I strive to create timeless, elegant, comfortable, and clearly written patterns that are at the same time, an absolute joy to knit! Because, of course, knitting is not just about the end result, is it? More importantly, I would say, it’s about the experience. That’s why with each and every pattern I release, I aim to create not only a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, classic design, but – most importantly – a joyful and gratifying experience.
